Sony Laptop stream.sys
It has becoming more and more anonying that Sony Laptops are too the shit when it comes to installing drivers by hand. This is a known issue with Sony and Microsoft - whenever you install a driver and try to either reboot, shutdown, hibernate, standby the laptop would simply freeze up. The freeze-up (soft-lock usually) is because of a poorly written system driver (see below).
Confirmed issue regarding Sony SZ and a clean XP install
This issue involves the Sony Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC2 Driver.

Installation Instructions:
- Download and Extract.
- Reboot in Safe Mode
- Rename X:\windows\system32\drivers\stream.sys to stream.old
- Copy the Extracted stream.sys to X:\windows\system32\drivers\
- Reboot and Test
- You can validate the patch works by rebooting the computer normally in Windows or verifying the version number.
